I have two bits of exclusive news to share about my work and the future of Let’s Talk About Mental Health (it’s good news, I promise!)…
Hello lovely mailing list subscribers!
As I mentioned a few weeks ago I have some huge projects coming in 2021, and since you’re on my mailing list you get to find out about stuff like this at least a week before anybody else as a thank you for you support 🙂 And so with that in mind, here are two things I’m going to be sharing publicly on the podcast and on social media over the next couple of weeks which I’d like to tell you about first…
I’m opening up some coaching slots for 2021 and offering online mental health seminars for businesses
Firstly… in Episode 58 which goes out on December 22nd (Australian time; Dec 21 in the US/UK etc.), I’ll be announcing that I am opening up a limited number of coaching spots for anyone that might want to work with me to improve their overall wellbeing in 2021. I take a holistic approach to coaching by focusing on all six areas of health I discuss in my podcast (mental, physical, spiritual, social, emotional and financial) and as I am in the process of completing formal qualifications as a counsellor (I know, I’ve kept that quiet until now… surprise!) that means that my coaching work is underpinned by a structured, quality framework. If you’re interested in finding out more, head to letstalkaboutmentalhealth.com.au/coaching for rates and information.
Also, a note here that any of you who are in the business world, regardless of whether it’s small or large, might be interested to know that I’m now offering online seminars that are focused on helping your employees identify and apply practical ways to manage their mental health and wellbeing. You can find out more (including rates) at jeremygodwin.com.au/speaking.
Let’s Talk About Mental Health is about to get much bigger, and you’ll be able to WATCH as it grows!
And my second piece of news (which isn’t going to be announced anywhere else until Episode 59 that goes out on December 28 Australian time; December 27 in the US/UK etc.) is…
Guess who’s launching a weekly Let’s Talk About Mental Health chat show on YouTube starting on the 21st of January (20th in the US/UK etc.)? ME!!! 🙂 I’m so excited/terrified I could pass out!
Look… I’ve been wanting to do this for ages because I absolutely love talking about mental health and wellbeing plus I really enjoy presenting/public speaking (out of all of the jobs I’ve had, working as a training facilitator for a few years was by far my all-time favourite role), but I’ve been putting this idea off for a whole bunch of reasons/excuses and now I’ve decided to just jump in head-first and get it started. You only live once, right?!
The Let’s Talk About Mental Health show will be a weekly chat show full of stuff about mental health and wellbeing, with a continued focus on practical advice and simple ideas for better mental health (grounded in quality research). It will be much more generalised than the podcast; I’ll be looking at mental health news, how world events are impacting on our wellbeing (and what to do to stay well), sharing tips for better mental health, diving into topics that are relevant depending on what’s going on in the world/time of year/conjunction of Saturn/whatever feels inspiring to me, and much much more.
I will still be doing the weekly podcast where I explore one specific aspect of mental health in detail, but this new weekly YouTube show will allow me to broaden the range of topics I cover and also help viewers to respond thoughtfully to a wider range of challenges and opportunities. If you haven’t already then please subscribe to my YouTube channel by clicking here (opens in new window) and please also switch on notifications to be alerted when new episodes land. I’m so excited about this new show and I have been busting to tell someone, so you’re finding out about it a full two weeks before anyone else! That doesn’t mean you have to keep it quiet… feel free to tell everyone you know (and if you might also want to stop random strangers in the street then hey, go for it!).
Have a fantastic holiday season, and if you celebrate Christmas then a very merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. I wish you all a very happy new year in 2021 — thank you so much for all of your support this year, and I’m really looking forward to sharing more of the exciting projects I have coming up in 2021!
PS: I think I’ve said ‘exciting’ or something similar at least 3,000 times in this email… that’s because I am SO EXCITED!!! Again, a huge thanks for all of your support because without people like yourself I would never have been able to grow Let’s Talk About Mental Health to this point. You rock!
