This is my last newsletter for the month of February, which just blows my mind. Where did the first two months of the year go? Who am I? What’s happening? These are questions we may never know the answer to, just like whose lipstick BeBe chose (that’s a deep Drag Race reference in case you’re confused).
At any rate, I’ve been a busy little beaver over the last couple of weeks because I am trialling some changes to my YouTube channel, starting with producing videos twice a week. Not going to lie, it’s a LOT of extra work, but I’m excited for the direction my channel is heading in. What’s that, you’re not a subscriber yet? Well how lucky then that here’s a link to my channel which you just have to click on! Hit subscribe and then click on the bell icon to turn on notifications (because YouTube does not automatically tell you when I release new videos, so you might not see them in your ‘recommended’ feed). Your support would be greatly appreciated, and if you like what you see then please like/comment and share with your friends/family/random strangers.
And speaking of support, if you’re feeling generous and would like to help me keep my podcast and YouTube content ad-free then please support me on Patreon; for $3 (AUD) per month you get a thank-you shout out at the end of every transcript on my website and for $8 (AUD) per month you also receive an exclusive monthly video where I answer your questions and tell you what is coming up on my shows the following month (plus I share updates on my writing work there well before I do here in my newsletter).
Yes I know it’s a pain when you’re asked repeatedly to spend more, especially with the 14,000 streaming services we all have to pay for these days, however creating my content takes time and money… and, sadly, I cannot pay bills with smiles and rainbows. So if you find my work helpful and valuable then please consider supporting me on Patreon so I can continue to do what I do. Thank you.
So without any further ado (that was a lot of ‘ado’)… greetings and salutations, and a very warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week!
