Thursday Thoughts: the Let’s Talk About Mental Health newsletter (21 April, 2022)

Hello Talkers!

Remember how last week I said I had no idea what day it was? I just copied the template for my newsletter and noticed that I dated last week’s edition as the 13th of April… it was the 14th. 🤪

I’m a little more ‘with it’ when it comes to what day of the week it is now, mainly because we just had a four-day long weekend here (as I’m sure many of you did) which meant I was able to unwind a bit with some sorely-needed self care. And completely coincidentally (seriously!), this week’s video on my YouTube channel is actually about self care with 9 brand-new and simple tips you can put into practice immediately. Click here to watch it now or just scroll down to the bottom of my newsletter where you’ll see it all bright and shiny and ready to view! And if you like my channel, please subscribe and click on the bell to be notified when I release new content each week.

So without any further ado… greetings and salutations, and a very warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week!

Jeremy 😃

My favourite inspiring things this week:

My absolute favourite thing this week:

I have been fascinated with the stars since as early as I can remember, and this short video showing a timelapse of the Milky Way is nothing short of awe-inspiring. If it does nothing else, let it remind you for a few seconds of the sheer enormousness of the universe… because that helps you to put our little daily troubles into a broader perspective.

My favourite posts from my channels this week:

My favourite quote this week:

“We humans have two great problems: the first is knowing when to begin; the second is knowing when to stop.”

Paulo Coelho
