TL;DR version of this post: I have a book coming out on July 7! Pre-orders are open NOW (click here)!
Now let me give you all of the details…
Hi everyone! I’m beyond excited to announce that my book, Let’s Talk About Mental Health (Volume One), will be released internationally in both eBook and print formats on July 7, 2022! And, even better, the eBook is available to pre-order now via Apple Books and Amazon Kindle (click here for pre-order options and links).
I’ve mentioned in the podcast a few times that I was working on a book and I am so utterly delighted to finally be getting ready to release my baby in a few weeks. This book is a collection of some of my past episodes that have also been reviewed and revised with new content added, and in many of them I’ve also added in bits that were deleted from the original episodes for editing reasons, because sometimes I have a tendency to run too long… (who, me? Go off on a tangent? Never!).
More importantly, I have woven these past episodes together in a new way that serves to guide you through four key aspects of your wellbeing: Foundations of Better Mental Health, How You Treat Yourself, You and the World Within You, and You and the World Around You. Each section has between four and five chapters, and each chapter finishes with self-paced reflection activities that help you to take some time to think about what you’ve read and, most importantly, what you’re going to do with it.
The eagle-eyed amongst you might have noticed the mention of a Volume One, and that’s because I’m already working on Volume Two! This is a great way to share my work with a new audience while also allowing you, my wonderful existing audience, to rediscover my work in a totally different context and turn it from a passive listening experience into a more active self-development guide. I’m so excited to share all of the things that I have coming up over the next 12-24 months and this is just a taste of what is to come… so, thank you all for your ongoing support and I look forward to sharing more news with you over the coming months!
My book will be available in eBook format via Amazon (Kindle) and Apple Books, and the print version will be exclusively available via Amazon (FYI it’s print on demand so that I can reduce my carbon footprint and make it accessible to the widest audience possible, since I’m publishing this under my own label, Reconnaissance Media). You are able to pre-order the eBook now, however the print version will not be available until release date.
