Thursday Thoughts: the Let’s Talk About Mental Health newsletter (30 June, 2022)

Hello Talkers!,

Happy end of financial year! I know it’s not the case in all countries, but here we do July 1 to June 30 and it’s the dumbest thing ever because all morning I have been completely bombarded with emails from companies who actually seem to think their customers want to celebrate this milestone that nobody actually cares about by purchasing useless crap…! If I sound like a grumpy old man it’s probably because I have the flu and I feel like a grumpy old man (well, I mean, I am turning 46 next week so I’m not too far off lol!).

Anyway, in spite of my grumpitis I am indeed feeling very positive because my book, Let’s Talk About Mental Health (Volume One), comes out next week… so by the time we speak again it will be out in the world! You can find links to order it in print or eBook here and your purchase helps me to keep on doing the work I do, so thanks!

So without any further ado… greetings and salutations, and a very warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week!

Jeremy 🙂

PS: For anyone finding this week to be particularly tough with everything going on in the world, the ‘Circles of Influence’ post below might prove helpful. And the Borg (from Star Trek) were wrong; resistance is not futile.
