Thursday Thoughts: the Let’s Talk About Mental Health newsletter (7 July, 2022)

Hello Talkers!,

I feel like I might have some important news this week… oh, that’s right, my book is out now! And yes, I know I emailed all of you earlier today (Australian time) so you’ve probably already seen me talk about it, but I’m just so excited that I had to mention it again. In other news, you may have seen on my social media that yesterday (July 6) was my birthday and also my 4-year sobriety anniversary. I’m proud that I was able to finally quit drinking back in 2018, given that I’m just not great with moderation, and I can say wholeheartedly that it has changed my mental health for the better.

So without any further ado… greetings and salutations, and a very warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week!
