About Let’s Talk About Mental Health

Let’s Talk About Mental Health is a weekly podcast full of simple ideas for better mental health, grounded in quality research — because looking after your wellbeing takes work, but it doesn’t have to be tough. Australian writer and counsellor Jeremy Godwin presents weekly episodes with easy and proven ways to improve your mental health and wellbeing every day, drawing from his professional expertise along with his personal experience of learning to live with anxiety and depression.

Each podcast episode covers one specific topic (like over-thinking, stress, purpose, etc.) and provides listeners with tools they can put into practice immediately, and episodes average 25 minutes which makes it easy for the audience to spend some time on their self-development even when busy. 

In January 2021, Jeremy launched Let’s Talk About Mental Health TV on YouTube with new episodes every Wednesday. Each video looks at one specific idea and provides viewers with how-to advice grounded in quality research.

Audience and reach

Since launching in October 2019 the program has grown quickly, and as at March 2021 the podcast now has more than 1,300,000 downloads and listeners in over 165 countries meaning that the show is now in the top 10% of podcasts worldwide*.

The majority of listeners are from the USA, Australia, UK, Canada, Philippines, Germany, New Zealand and Ireland. Let’s Talk About Mental Health is available on all major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and more.
