Well, welcome to 2024! I hope you arrived safely, happy, and well-fed. 😁

The transition from year to year is often a reflective time for many of us, and I’ve spent the past few weeks really thinking about what direction I want to head in 2024. Frankly, I don’t know that I’ve completely nailed it down… and that’s OK.

The pressure to set goals and be constantly hustling can be utterly exhausting, and I’ve been allowing myself the space to just think about things and to sit with my feelings instead of rushing head-first into a set of goals.

This morning I was flicking through Instagram and discovered this quote on TinyBuddha:

“My idea of success is feeling safe in my home, comfortable in my skin, and present enough to enjoy the little things in life.”

That quote really hit me, because it’s more about feelings and going back to basics… so that’s what I’m focusing on in 2024. Is it a new focus? Not really. But is it a more refined and targeted focus? Yes, absolutely.

So here’s my tip of the week: go back to basics. Embrace simplicity and, first and foremost, build a foundation for yourself that feels inspiring and rejuvenating.

Remember, life is primarily a series of little moments… so make the most of them!
