Thursday Thoughts: the weekly Let’s Talk About Mental Health newsletter (25 November, 2021)

Hello Talkers!

So I casually mentioned in the latest episode of the podcast that I’m working on a book at the moment… surprise! It was a last-minute decision to mention it, to be honest, so I thought I might take a quick minute to clarify it here. I’m collating a number of past episodes of the podcast and will be adding to the existing transcripts for the topics I’ve selected to create a book that will be a bit of a how-to guide for navigating through the journey of better mental health. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes, and I’m aiming for a release in early 2022 (probably eBook first and then potentially into print depending on how it goes). Updates to follow over the coming months!

You may also have noticed at the end of my latest episode that I included an announcement about the show being produced by Reconnaissance Media; that is my business and I’m moving everything under that banner as the business focuses on helping you find meaning and gratitude through podcasts, videos, books and events. Lots of exciting stuff coming up in 2022, and I will keep you all posted in this weekly update!

So… greetings and salutations, and a warm welcome to another newsletter. I hope you enjoy my quick snapshot of my favourite things this week — hopefully at least one of them will make you smile/feel inspired. Have a fantastic week and a brilliant weekend!

My favourite things this week:

I’m going to be changing the format here just a little in terms of simply adding in the posts I enjoyed/found inspiring, rather than also writing a little blurb about them and adding extra thoughts at the end. Why? Time! So, here are my favourite posts this week:
